The Fairmont Château Whistler is one of Canada's most iconic mountain resorts, set at the base of Blackcomb Mountain in the heart of Whistler Village. With its grand château-style architecture, world-class spa, and stunning alpine views, it's the perfect setting for the inaugural Rival Summit.
All conference sessions, meals, and social events will take place within the Château. We've reserved a discounted room block exclusively for Summit attendees — the booking link and group code will be included in your registration confirmation email.

The discounted room block is held until 30 days before the event or until rooms run out — whichever comes first. We recommend booking early. For the group code, email [email protected].
Weather in October
Crisp and mountain-fresh — typical highs in the low 50s°F (10–12°C), lows near freezing, and a chance of early snow at elevation. Pack layers and a warm jacket.
Getting There
How to Get to Whistler
Rival Summit Shuttle
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to the Fairmont Château Whistler for all registered attendees. Shuttle details and departure times will be shared in your registration confirmation.
By Air
Fly into Vancouver International Airport (YVR). It's the closest major airport, approximately 2–2.5 hours from Whistler depending on conditions.
International attendees: check Canada's entry requirements (eTA or visa) well in advance.
By Car or Coach
Drive or take a coach along the stunning Sea-to-Sky Highway (Hwy 99) from Vancouver — approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours. Coach services include Pacific Coach and Epic Rides.
Rental cars are available at YVR. Parking is available at the Château.
